Indian State Level Basic Environment Information Database (ISBEID)

ISBEID – Indian State Level Basic Environment Information Database: Nagaland ENVIS Centre, Ministry of Environment and Forests, Govt. of India

Indian State Level Basic Environment Information Database (ISBEID) is a web -enabled software developed by the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India under the Environmental Information System (ENVIS) Project. The software is to enable the State ENVIS Centres on Status of Environment and Related Issues to feed data directly into the database server using the web-interface in the ENVIS Portal.

A software module for a spatial interface with GIS application in the ISBEID software has been developed as a one stop information provider on environment status for the states/UTs. The ISBEID software has 17 modules (link to the modules) and will be implemented by all the States/UT ENVIS Centres.
